CARS (Condition Acquisition and Reporting System) is a condition reporting system now used by 10 states to assemble traveler information and to support the dissemination through such things as Traveler Information Web Pages, 511 Telephone Systems, and Highway Advisor Radio/Low Power FM transmitters.
