1st Annual Gibbs Band Bike Ride

fundraising

I went to the Gibbs High School to lead their first annual fund raising ride. The ride was organized by Tom, Heather and others.

There was not a big turn-out for the ride; only about 20 bikes. The event did get coverage on the local news (WBIR).

The ride was pretty short. It left the school and went North on Tazewell Pike up to Luttrell. From there, we took Hwy 61 into Blaine. We made a quick stop on Rutledge Pike for the riders to stretch their legs. Then we took Circle Road back over to Emory and looped back to the highschool. Not a long ride, but some nice riding.

I look forward to the event growing and next year being bigger and better.
