Riding along at elevations over 4000 feet made a hot day a very nice day.
We took the I-40 over to Ashville where we picked up the Blue Ridge Parkway. We took the parkway all the way to Cherokee. From there, we just took 441 over the mountain into Gatlinburg.
It only got warm once we came back into Pigeon Forge. Otherwise, it was in the mid 70's to mid 80's all day long.
