An empty Navy Pier and the Chicago skyline

I took a walk and went to the Navy Pier. I did not expect to find what I found

The place was nearly deserted. I was not totally alone, but it was vastly different from the last time I was in Chicago (I think it was June then). But it was still a very nice walk with a rewarding view of the Chicago skyline on my return.
