We enjoyed a motorcycle ride up to Morristown today to have lunch at Taco John's. I had the chicken fajita quesadilla melt, split some boneless wings with Lori, then finished up with a Sweet Crème Churro and Cini-Sopapilla Bites® that I also split with Lori.
Lori fixed some eggs and sausage for breakfast this morning- good stuff!
231.4 this morning.
It's surprisingly hard to remember to take photos of my food before I start eating it. Once I've started, I don't want to take a picture of the pate since it looks messy right away it seems (some times I'll show a partially eaten meal, but not often).
I need to do something to help myself remember to take pictures...that may help me slow down and appreciate it more too.
We went out to La Caretta tonight and I had one of my (our) favorites - the A. B. C. P. It's Chicken covered with a cheese sause and served with a side of rice and beans. It's on the small side, but more than enough for a meal I think. Sorry, no pic this time...
Lori fixed me a great salad for lunch today - very similar to the one I had for dinner last night, complete with the chicken patty on top! Delicious!
A typical breakfast again - egg and cheese on a bagel thin. I threw in a twist today and added a yogurt.
Lori fixed me another great salad for dinner. She doesn't understand it, but I really enjoy that as a meal.
I had a frozen meal for lunch - today's was a SmartOnes Three Cheese Ziti Marinara. For a frozen meal, it's not bad.
I also had an apple with peanut butter (which is much better than the frozen meal).
Another standard breakfast, an egg and cheese on a bagel thin.
231.4 - I guess that trip to Reston wasn't so good for my diet :-)
Lori fixed me a great salad when I got in from class tonight.
Had a simple lunch of left-over pizza today. Three slices.
Back to my normal routine (well, for breakfast anyway). I had an egg and cheese on a bagel thin again.
After a great lunch, I was not too hungry for dinner and the flight plans did not really allow for any real meal. So I stopped in at McDonalds on the way home and got one of their small cheeseburgers - splitting the fries with Lori.
For lunch I went with a group of six people to Uncle Julio's. By recommendation from the natives, I had the carnitas tacos from the lunch menus. Further following their lead, I added some roasted jalapenos to add some flavor and heat. A very good lunch (sorry, no pic).
The party consisted of Ben London, Dan Disan, Justin Gay, Martin Svetoslavov and Brian Bruce.

Went with a small group today - Brian Bruce, Dan Sisan, Ben London and myself - to a japanese buffet place nearby, Obi Sushi. I did have the obligatory piece of sushi (shrimp - which was actually pretty good), but the best part of the meal was a chicken, egg and spinach dish. Probably not a good day for the diet overall, but as far as carbs go, it wasn't too bad - just had about a spoon of rice.

Best place to eat breakfast at the hotel is Panera Bread. They have these Baked Egg Soufflés that sounded interesting and I've been wanting to try for a while...today I tried the Spinach & Artichoke one. It was pretty good - kinda scary when I saw it laying with the other bakery items as I walked up to place my order.
I paired it with my traditional Chai Tea Latte.

Quesadilla Explosion Salad As Served has 1370 calories, 89g Fat and 86g Carbs. One positive thing I can say about it is that I did not have it entirely as served - I skipped the dressing and ranch dressing. But i probably had the 86g of carbs - so much for being good.
The salad was pretty good...if that makes it any better :-)
Lori and I had a super salad for lunch today. We put left-over chicken and pork chop on top of it.
